Okay, so it’s been almost a year since I last updated the blog, but in my defence I have been extremely lazy busy.

Firstly, “She’s Out of My League” was released. We had great fun promoting the movie around the US and internationally, almost got stranded by snow in New York for the press junket, premiered the movie in Las Vegas in March to a huge raucous crowd at the Hard Rock, and in general were really flattered by the critical and public reaction to the movie. Hanging in there in the US Top 10 for quite some time against tough competition in the blockbusting shape of Alice in Wonderland and Greengrass’s Green Zone.

And without coming up for air, I flew straight from that Vegas premiere down to Shreveport, Lousiana to commence pre-production on BUTTER, my new movie written by Jason Micallef and starring Jennifer Garner, Ty Burrell, Yara Shahidi, Olivia Wilde, Alicia Silverstone, Ashley Greene, Rob Corddry, Phyllis Smith, Kristen Schaal and Hugh Jackman. And for the last 6 months I’ve been in post-production on that and we are coming up on the finish line now, as our composer finishes up the score. If you’re looking for news and press about that, you could do worse than visit the IMDb news page for the movie.

Meanwhile I have returned to London to shoot an exciting new comedy-thriller pilot for the BBC called “The Wrong Mans”, written by and starring James Corden and Mat Baynton. A little bit of info on that on Deadline Hollywood, here and UK comedy news site Chortle, here.

Hopefully I’ll be sharing more information about these new projects over the next few months, particularly as The Weinstein Company gets ready to release BUTTER on the unsuspecting world.
